I was recently invited into the home of Diane, Jak, Harvey and little Olivia for an Unscripted Session.
There’s something so beautiful about watching families at work. Mums and Dads busily preparing breakfast. Persuading little ones to take one more bite. Wiping their sticking fingers.
Harvey started off a little shy, but as soon as he got an opportunity to show off his toy cars, he was the cameras best friend. Shooting his pearly whites my way whenever possible, something I’m sure he learnt from his dad! Little Olivia was just a joy to follow about. Those big brown eyes full of innocence. Her delicate little features, her mummy in miniature.
We spent the morning just chilling and playing at home as the family prepared to travel up the Northumberland coast to celebrate Harvey’s fifth birthday. A right of passage. As shortly after he was due to have his first day at school. Sure to be a tough one for all, but mostly Mum and Dad.
