Helen & Ben’s wedding day was full of delights.  Firstly a stunning bride and groom, a brilliant entourage for both the bridal party and groomsmen, hallowe’en ghouls popping up all over Alnwick Gardens, fabulous families, great venue and amazing band!  All in all, I had a hoot capturing their BigDay.

So a bit about the wedding.  Helen and Ben tied the knot in the stunning glass Pavilion at Alnwick Gardens.  In fact the entire day was there, and it really is an amazing backdrop for a wedding.  The fountains, the gardens themselves, and the place really becomes a stunner at night when you can see the stars through the roof.

I don’t think they’ll mind me saying that the best part of the day was the partaayy!  And the band, The Phil Davids Good Times Band, were simply awesome.  So many times I shoot weddings and there’s a lull between the first dance and the party really getting into full swing.  I’ve shot two weddings with these guys performing now and both times, the dance floor has been absolutely full for their entire set.  Love them – hope to see you again boys!

So thank you Helen and Ben for letting me capture your BigDay, ghosts and all (although not planned!).  I had a great time.  And Don’t forget to watch the fab alternative wedding video above too!
