good friends are like stars.
you don’t always see them,
but you know they’re always there.
So, your friend turns 40. Do you go down the pub? No! Do you go out for a meal? No! You book a castle in Northumberland of course, arrange a reunion of friends and family, and have a Hallowe’en party! (There’s a hint in there to my own friends and family for my future birthdays!)
I was delighted to be invited to capture some portraits for this fab bunch to ensure they had a collection of mementos from their short but precious time together. It was a shame I couldn’t stay for the party!
Here are a few of my favourite shots from the day, including some more traditional portraits, group shots and a few of my favourite candid moments – mostly involving the children who were all adorable.
