Harry’s currently fascinated by witches! He’s only 3, but he thinks they’re amazing! He’s quite upset that he can’t fly a broom – no matter how much he tries to say the spell from ‘Bed-knobs and Broomsticks’ he just doesn’t take to the air. So I told him we would go for a walk to find a witch. Really it was just an excuse to take photographs of him in his beautiful new jumper knitted by a friend’s mum. It’s so cute!
So here’s our witch hunt . . . we never did find the witch. He still can’t fly a broom. I’ve told him we’ll take some pumpkins to the wood in a couple of weeks time to see if we can coax one out her lair . . . the things us Mum’s say.
I should add, Harry took the images of the tree bark and clover – completely, 100% by himself! He can’t wait for Santa to bring him a camera for Christmas – neither can Mummy! Photowalks here we come!
